| Rias Baixas is by far the most important area, where Casal Caeiro is in its coolest section. The 11 hectares of vineyards owned by the Estate yield a wine of delightful apricot fruit, balanced by mineral freshness. | |
| Chablis Louis Jadot - France | £20.50 |
| A fuller style of Chablis, still typically bone-dry, but also with a well-rounded finish and subtle hints of toasty-vanilla oak flavours. | |
| Sancerre Les Collinettes - France | £27.00 |

| 4. Rioja Monte Clavijo - Spain | £17.50 |
| A young classic of the Tempranillo grape. Fruity, medium body with light tannins 175ml £4.40 250ml £5.90 | |
| Chianti La Vigna docg - Italy | £17.50 |
| After rigorous selection of quality grapes, Botter produce an attractively young wine, with a typical “bite” backed up by some raisiny fruit and peppery spice. | |
| Cotes Du Rhone Domaine Boudinaud ~ France | £18.50 |
| This is a block-buster from genius winemaker Thierry Boudinaud, who has established himself as a “reference” for the South of France. This certainly raises the bar for the Appellation. Abundantly rich and fruity, it has so much more going for it than a simple Cotes du Rhone | |
| Domaine des Gourdins St Emilion ~ France | £25.50 |
| Classic and harmonious presence of vanilla and caramel, this is a beautifully tailored St Emilion which elegantly shows the delights of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%). The wine is aromatic, with a long finish and benefits from good bottle-age. | |
| Finca La Colonia Malbec ~ Argentina | £18.50 |
| The most impressive red grape in Argentina, Malbec is widely planted. Mendoza is the most important province and, from here, Bodegas Norton produce a wine of rich, intense flavours with fine tannins and considerable structure and depth. | |
| Moillard Pinot Noir - France | £20.50 |
| Rich, juicy with fresh red & dark fruit flavours with light acidity | |
| The Lodge Hill Shiraz ~ Australia | £20.50 |
| Intense, muscular Shiraz is the hallmark of great reds from Clare Valley. This is seriously, stonkingly Shiraz of titanic proportions! Although all of 15% ABV, with flavours of black cherries, plums and mocha, it is brilliantly blanced by tannins which give a long finish. The stand out wine at our wine tasting | |
| The Winery of Good Hope Pinotage ~ South Africa | £18.50 |
| The grape originates from a crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, and the characteristics of both varieties are evident in this fine wine. It shows the relative delicacy of Pinot Noir and the generous fruitiness of Cinsault! | |
